The presentation talks about the motor of electric vehicles. To achive high performance of electric motor, high technologies are required for design and meterials. Discussions are stressed on issues of optimization design. A novel design platform will be introduced. Multiphysics simulation is applied to different aspects of physics and the interactions, including magnetics, heat transfer, structure, oscillation and acoustics. The Multiple-Objective Genetic Algorithm is adopted to explore the optimum solution of electric motor with considerations of magnetic circuits and cooling system. Various meterials are adopted in the motor including magnet, coil, thermal conduction, and so on.
