The presentation starts with adaptive mesh-refining in adaptive eigenvalue computation and its optimal convergence rates. The focus is on new fine-tuned stabilised nonconforming schemes that directly compute lower eigenvalue bounds. They also allow for adaptive mesh-refining with optimal convergence rates. This is on joint work with Dr S. Puttkammer. If there is more time, the context could be broader and include conforming schemes too.
