Workshop of Computational Science and Information Engineering 2024

Homepage: https://www.smartchair.jp/hp/SCIE2024       22 - 25 March, 2024     OKINAWA PLUS

The fields of scientific computing and information engineering are increasingly requiring close collaboration between academia and industry due to the rapid evolution of technology. Against this dynamic backdrop, SCIE2024 Workshop aims to bring together researchers from these fields to share cutting-edge information and engage in deep discussions.

The workshop will focus on the following two key themes:

  1. Innovations in Electron Spectroscopy and Computational Material Science: Discussions will revolve around the latest applications in material property analysis and evaluation, employing a variety of approaches including the Monte Carlo method. This includes developments in first-principles theory, molecular simulation, and advanced algorithms powered by machine learning.

  2. Reliability of Scientific Computational Methods: Emphasis will be on the theories and practices of error evaluation in numerical computation methods. Special focus will be given to the foundational theories of functional analysis and numerical computation methods to provide guaranteed results.

We eagerly anticipate the participation and discussions from researchers in universities, research institutions, and industries, particularly those interested in material science and scientific computing. This workshop is expected to serve as a platform for knowledge exchange and fostering new collaborations in these fields.
